On the Day of Atonement, Jesus was "transformed in front of the crowd" when he dressed in the snow-white garments that was reserved for the high priest. Then, he became engaged in an intense debate about the occurrence with the two priests that used the titles "Elijah" and "Moses", that is, Thaddeus and Jonathan Annas. What Jesus wanted to symbolize by this action, was that neither the office of the high priest was unavailable to people that had been born outside the Levi Tribe and also that The Kingdom of God was just as important in the Diaspora as in "The Holy Land".
