While some researchers believe that the Biblical plagues can be explained by the effects from the eruption on Thera, others think that they naturally took place in Egypt at irregular intervals. The order in which they occurred from September -1306 to April -1305 are consistent with the Biblical narration, but we do not have to look for supernatural elements in this case either.
