You may marvel at your cat's ability to seemingly land on its feet every time it falls. Yes, cats do have an incredible talent to change their positioning in midair so that their feet land on the ground first. It's their tail that help them to do this and most of the time cats will land fine. But it's entirely possible for a cat to "miss" a landing and actually fall to the ground, especially if they're falling from a great height or if they're suddenly pushed. So, don't underestimate the danger of high ledges, walls or staircases in your house – just because your cat seems to always land on its feet doesn't mean that it'll do so every time.
