Although no other drilling methods can explain all the strange conditions that Flinders Petrie found in the Egyptian stones, it is impossible to get an Egyptologist to admit that the pyramid builders used ultrasound to perforate hard rocks. To all others, however, although the history books claim that contemporary Egyptians had not even invented the wheel, much evidence in favor of a technologically advanced culture is available if we manage to recognize it as such. Many of the techniques behind Petrie's discoveries were totally unknown in his time and it is only now that we begin to understand them a little better. Therefore, we have to reconsider our perceptions with regard to the old Egyptians' technology.
