A common myth is that if you don't train regularly enough, your muscles will start to turn into fat. The reason why this myth is often believed is because muscle burns fat. If you stop training, the muscles start to shrink and you won't burn as many calories. Therefore, you’ll start to put on weight. This isn't your muscles turning into fat at all; muscles and fat are two completely separate things.
