If we ignore Richard Howard-Vyse's dubious "discovery" of King Kufu's cartouche and Herodotus' suggestions, there are no indications that Kufu really constructed the Great Pyramid at Giza. All other traces point to the fact that it not only existed in his father's time, but also that there had been carried out restoration work on it many hundred years before he was born.
