Waynman Dixon (* 1844; † 1930) was a British engineer that accidentally discovered the so-called "shaft openings" in the Queen's Chamber of the Great Pyramid in 1872. He also found a bronze hook and a peace of wood that Christopher Dunn believes was used to regulate the flow of chemichals to produce hydrogen gas.
