If you think that the word history means "accurate and truthful descriptions of past events", you are in for a nasty surprise, since what is being passed of as "history" is often nothing more than elaborate or even sloppily presented myths!
One of the profoundly and brainshakingly horrifying things you are sooner or later bound to discover when reading so-called "history" is that nobody really knows what happened. Instead, we are the victims of people with agendas, who often repackage unsubstantiated tales into a simplistic story that even an elementary school child can understand.
That means that from the most pivotal moments of massive wars to fun little factoids about historical figures, a little digging reveals that surprisingly few things actually played out exactly the way that our history books claim!
